After the atomic bombing of Hiroshima by the United States on August 6, 1945, six international Southeast Asian students, and several Japanese, evacuated to Hiroshima University of Literature and Science, for approximately a week from August 7. The university was located approximately 1,420 meters from the hypocentre. In this paper, with the help of a Japanese national who aided in the evacuation, we have presented relevant events and their locations through explanatory illustrations. This illustration has brought new insights into the reality of international students, under the World War II.
