[Difficulty removed] Vt. 1 ad P6. 4. 140, which proposes that we should re-formulate P6. 4. 140, could prevent zero-substitution from taking place in the place of ā (a feminine affix ṬāP) in yā.
1. 3. 1. 3. [Difficulty] Undesired possibility of applying P1. 2. 45 to an indeclinable (nipāta) vā.
[Difficulty removed] The rule introducing the term prātipadika is newly formulated, having an indeclinable exclusively as its domain of application.
1. 3. 1. 4. [Difficulty] Undesired application of applying P6. 4. 77 to trasnu (tras + knu) in a string {trasnu + au} when deriving trasnū.
[Difficulty removed] The procedure of the Teacher in his making the rule P6. 4. 77 gives us the clue that the rule cannot be applied to an item terminating in an affix.
