Abstract
This paper examined the discussion property of the articles in Braunschweigisches Journal, especially between F.E.v. Rochow and J.G.Schlosser as an example. The article by v. Rochow was the discussion for the enlightenment of people, and expected of the ruler to prepare educational institute for this purpose. On the contrary, the article by Schlosser was on the obligation to faith, in which he found the wrecking of faith and shared the division of reason against faith. Those opinions are seemed as a controversy for the points of religious education and social recognition in German Enlightenment as a result.
