| Abstract |
It can be said that there are few studies of interregional multi-sectoral economic dependency between two regions over the border because useful statistical data is not available until today. Mutual dependency between domestic regions and foreign countries was usually measured by the special "interregional" or "international" Input-Output table.
This paper shows the simple measurement method and the application of the method for measurement of mutual dependency between two regions over the border without using an "interregional Input-Output table". It will show the characteristics of industrial structure of the two regions, which reflect economic dependency. We hope this attempt is useful and lead to a kind of positive economic analysis for the current world situation of "globalization". |
