広島大学附属福山中・高等学校内に生育するコケ植物を調査した結果,20科34属40種(蘚類32種・苔類8種)のコケ植物が観察できた。そのうち,雌雄異株23種(蘚類17種・苔類6種),雌雄同株16種(蘚類14種・苔類2種),雌雄性不明種1種(蘚類1種)であった。胞子体形成は,雌雄同株の種で頻繁であったが(16種中12種),無性芽形成は,雌雄異株の種で多い傾向(23種中6種)にあった。

The Bryophyte flora of the Attached Fukuyama Junior and Senior High Schools, Hiroshima University(Fukuyama-shi, SW-Honshu, Japan) and the reproductive condition of each species are investigated. As the result, 40 species are recognized including 32 mosses, 8 liverworts. This bryophyte flora includes 23 dioicous, 16 monoicous and one species whose sexuality is unknown. Sporophyte-production is observed in 12 monoicous and 6 dioicous species. Gemmae-formation is observed in 6 dioicous ones.
