Abstract
In 2023, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down race-conscious admission programs in SFFA decision. This ruling triggered a series of changes in admissions procedures at universities across the U.S., causing uncertainty and confusion among students applying to universities.
Through an examination of the SFFA decision, this paper will examine the increasingly conservative stance of the U.S. Supreme Court toward affirmartive action and the impact of the decision on the future of affirmative action at universities.
