| Abstract |
This research note is based on a proposal for a trial held at the Hiroshima High Court. It aims to examine the scope of interview at an action for retrial stage. In conclusion, this study has argued that to prepare for a reopening of the proceedings, a retrial requester should have the right to conduct an interview with a retrial defense counsel, without any official being present.
