| Abstract |
This research considers the authenticity of kuntenshiryo (data concerning guiding marks for rendering Chinese into Japanese), which have been found across Japan. Kuntenshiryo are indispensable in a factual analysis of the history of the Japanese language. This paper is the second part of a study examining the authenticity of kuntenshiryo.
This second part appraises the examples of kuntenshiryo presented in Part I, paying particular attention to the Sanzen-in-zo kobun-kokyo Kenji Sannen Ten, which dates from 1277. This report also gives historical descriptions of the related data, and an analysis of them. |
