特別支援学校（聴覚障害）で取り扱われる自立活動の内容に関する動向 : 自己意識形成の取り組みを含めた2008年度調査結果 <原著>

特別支援学校（聴覚障害）（以下，ろう学校）における自立活動の取り組みでは，従来，発音･発語指導や，聴覚学習の指導が中心的に扱われてきた。近年，教育場面での手話･指文字の採用に伴い，「障害認識の指導」という用語が用いられ，指導内容として位置づいてきている。平成19年の特別支援教育への移行に伴い，自立活動の内容も改訂されたが，その直後の時期における各ろう学校での自立活動の取り組みについて，全国のろう学校の幼稚部から高等部までを対象とした調査を実施した。その際，障害認識の形成を，広く肯定的な自己意識の形成の指導と考え，形成の要因として，他者との交流と人の育ちに関する理解を想定した設問を設けた。多くの学校では，障害認識の指導を自己意識形成の指導として位置づける事に肯定的で，実際に交流や成長に関する指導を行っているろう学校の多くは，自己意識形成に効果があったと捉えていた。しかし，こうした内容を自立活動でどのように指導していくかについては，まだ十分に確立しているとは言えず，その後の動向についての検討が必要であることが示された。

This paper reported the results of survey regarding the curriculum contents of Autonomous Activities (Jiritsu-Katsudo) in the Japanese Deaf schools (108 in total) at 2008, second year after starting Special Needs Education in Japan. From 1990’s many Japanese Deaf schools adopted sign language and finger-spelling as a supportive communication method. Corresponding to that situation, the contents of Jiritsu-Katsudo has been changed gradually. Especially, the term “Cognition of the hearing-impairment”, similar concept to self-esteem or self-consciousness, has been spread. However, the concept and the contents of tutoring is not clear. As a result, many schools dealt the popular contents of Jiritsu-Katsudo from the pre- to high-school department. Adding to those, some schools included the interacting with Deaf adults and learning the developmental process of human. It suggested that how to construct the tutoring of those field seemed to have to be discussed, and the follow-up survey should be done.
