Abstract
In this paper, I considered about the development of instructional material on the education on discussion in Japanese class. In this case, I focused on the transcript for use on post-discussion. First, I reviewed previous studies. I pointed out as follows, (1) study about instructional material for use on post-discussion was scarcely, (2) transcript is effective to teach discussion, and (3) developing transcript cost time. Second, I collected the practice examples. These were written by Etsuko Yamamoto (1995, 1996), Kiyoko Sakamoto (2004), and Hironari Hase (2013). Then I analyzed them how teacher developing transcript as instructional material. Through this study, I organized a variety of transcripts as follows, made by students, a part of discussion, and making instant by use of blackboard.
