日本産魚類に寄生するウオジラミ属カイアシ類の目録(1927–2010年)

A checklist of copepods of the genus Caligus (Siphonostomatoida, Caligidae) from fishes in Japanese waters (1927–2010)

1927–2010年に出版された文献に加えて, 筆者らが海水魚から採集した標本の観察結果に基づき, 日本産魚類から記録されたウオジラミ属カイアシ類32種と未同定種に関する情報 (異名リスト, 宿主, 寄生部位, 地理的分布)を種ごとに整理した:

ヒラマサウオジラミ(新称) Caligus aesopus, カツオウオジラミ (新称) C.bonito, ベラウオジラミ (新称) C. brevis, ブダイウオジラミ (新称) C. calotomi, ニザダイウオジラミ (新称)C. cordiventris, シイラウオジラミ(改称) C. coryphaenae, ナンカイウオジラミ (新称) C. cybii, アカエイウオジラミ (新称) C. dasyaticus, ハタウオジラミ (新称) C. epinepheli, ヤガラウオジラミ (新称) C. fistulariae,フグウオジラミ (新称) C. fugu, カガミダイウオジラミ (新称) C. glandifer, イシダイウオジラミ (新称) C.hoplognathi, モジャコウオジラミ (新称) C. lalandei, シイノウオジラミ (新称) C. laticaudus, クロダイウオジラミ (新称) C. latigenitalis, シマアジウオジラミ (新称) C. longipedis, サンマウオジラミC. macarovi, メバチウオジラミ(改称) C. mebachii, トウヨウウオジラミ (新称) C. orientalis, エンガンウオジラミ (新称)C. oviceps, マダイウオジラミ (新称) C. pagrosomi, サワラウオジラミ (新称) C. pelamydis, モンガラカワハギウオジラミ (新称) C. polycanthi, ガイヨウウオジラミ (新称) C. productus, ゴマフウオジラミ (新称) C.punctatus, タイカイウオジラミ (新称) C. quadratus, ゴウシュウウオジラミ (新称) C. sclerotinosus, ヤマグチウオジラミ (新称) C. seriolae, ブリウオジラミ(改称) C. spinosus, ウミタナゴウオジラミ (新称) C. tanago,キュウセンウオジラミ (新称) C. triangularis, および未同定種 Caligus spp. また, プランクトンとして記録されたウキウオジラミ (新称) C. undulatusの情報も含めた.

本目録により, 北太平洋から23種, 瀬戸内海から17種, 東シナ海から10種, 日本海から5種, オホーツク海から2種が報告されていることが明らかになった. また今回, 筆者らが調べた標本は, ヤガラウオジラミ, フグウオジラミ, モンガラカワハギウオジラミ, ゴマフウオジラミに同定され, それぞれヤガラ科のアオヤガラ, フグ科魚類のコモンフグとシロサバフグ, カワハギ科魚類のソウシハギ, フグ科のクサフグが新宿主として追加された. これらの整理と結果に基づいて, 亜熱帯海域における研究や生態・生活史研究の必要性などを述べた.

Based on the literature published between 1927 and 2010 and an examination of new material of the specimens collected from Japanese marine fishes, a checklist is compiled for the following 32 nominal species and some unidentified species of the copepod genus Caligus from Japanese fishes: Caligus aesopus, C. bonito, C. brevis, C. calotomi, C. cordiventris, C. coryphaenae, C. cybii, C. dasyaticus, C. epinepheli, C. fistulariae, C. fugu, C. glandifer, C. hoplognathi, C. lalandei, C. laticaudus, C. latigenitalis, C. longipedis, C. macarovi, C. mebachii, C. orientalis, C. oviceps, C. pagrosomi, C. pelamydis, C. polycanthi, C. productus, C. punctatus, C. quadratus, C. sclerotinosus, C. seriolae, C. spinosus, C. tanago, C. triangularis, and Caligus spp. Information on C. undulatus reported in plankton is also included. This checklist contains information for each Caligus species regarding its host(s), attachment site(s), known geographical distribution in Japanese waters, and references. The new material consisted of: Caligus fistulariae from two fistulariid fishes, Fistularia petimba and F. commersonii (new host); Caligus fugu from two tetraodontid fishes, Takifugu poecilonatus (new host) and Lagocephalus heeleri (new host); Caligus polycanthi from one monacanthid fish, Aluterus scriptus (new host); and Caligus punctatus from one tetraodontid fish, Takifugu niphobles (new host). Twenty-three, 17, 10, 5, and 2 nominal species of Caligus have been found, respectively, in the North Pacific Ocean, Seto Inland Sea, East China Sea, Sea of Japan, and Sea of Okhotsk.
