大学生のスポーツ参加の〈場〉の実証的研究 : 転換期を迎えた大学の保健体育科目との関わりの中で

A Possitive Research of "Occasion" on which the University Students come to participate in Sports : In Relation to the University Course of Health and Physical Education which faced the Turning Points

The "Occasion" which people come to participate in sports has extended remarkably. That is the same in case of the University Students. The purpose of this study is to clarify on what "Occasions" they come to participarte in sports by the social technic of questionnaires.

We have two view points. One is to find out the tendency of diversification of "occasion" and the second is the evaluation and the estimation in the future. We analyse the date of 1680 students of 38 University in Japan.

We have made the questionnaires in 1989, and got the date from 1680 student of 38 University in Japan.

The results are as 4 points :

1) The percentage of student who have "occasion" without "physical activities class" and play physical activity over per a week is 45.5%.

2) We can point out the declining tendency that students doesn't participate in the traditional university sports occasion as "Taiikukai Undobu".

3) Surely, many students come to participate in sports in various occasion. But they don't play sports activity with satisfaction.

4) Considering the evaluation of the university course of health and physical they evaluate physical activity lesson at higher level than physical and healthy theory.

The summary of the result is to find out the tendency of diversification in relation to the "occasion" which university students participate in sports. And so, considering this tendency, the course of physical education and school sports in university is facing the turning point.
