Abstract
When the corporate management to esteem an environmental protection and preservation was becoming a social demand, for the building constructors such as house makers which were remarkable with the numerous waste emissions, the correction became an immediate problem. In response to this, the Sekisui House Corporation group innovated on the whole waste-emitting process from the collection to the recycling by cooperating in the entire group, and then realized "zero-emission" of the waste in the construction site. By this paper, I analyzed the case of the Sekisui House Corporation group and examined the process management by which the corporate group realized a radical change. On that occasion, I paid attention to the network of the corporate group and adopted a viewpoint to let the corporate group learn by managing the network. As a result, I recognized the corporate group carried out the following network management. First, in the unfreezing process, in order to "externalize/combine" the recognition of a necessity of a change, the degree of the cohesion of an inter-organizational network of each local area block which was consisted of an office (or a factory) and many subcontracts was made stronger, and at the same time, the degree of the betweenness of the headquarter in the intra-organizational network was made stronger by bridging structural holes among the inter-organizational networks. Second, in the moving process, in order to "externalize/combine" the concrete ideas of a change, the degree of the cohesion of each local inter-organizational network was made stronger, and at the same time, the degree of the betweenness of the headquarter in the intra-organizational network was made stronger by bridging structural holes among the inter-organizational networks Third, in the freezing process, in order to "internalize" the ideas of a change which were collected and integrated by the headquarter, the degree of the cohesion of each local inter-organizational network was made stronger.
