| Abstract |
Ikuo, who attached importance of the meaning of music as the subject to the children's daily life and focused on the development of the children's ability for music, basically penetrated the subject centered idea aiming at the effective acquisition of the contents of subject. However, his teaching method had been improved in view of the child-centered idea, which was not found in other music teachers'. Ikuo tried to search for the point of contact between the subject centered and the child-centered through the complications and accommodations with a manager, Takeji Kinoshita.
