Abstract
It was the purpose that this research works on the trend of the physical education towards training of PISA type reading comprehension power in the physical education and a concrete policy. The result is summarized into the following three points. 1) About a physical education lesson, the tendency focalized should ask the lesson practice which aimed at two targets called "the capability which expresses briefly what himself felt" and "training of the capability suitable for various texts to read". 2) In the physical education practice to which aimed at "the capability suitable for the subject to read" of "capability understood and interpreted according to purpose" and "capability read while evaluating" is seldom seen. The raining of PISA type reading comprehension power may be difficult. 3) Be in the tendency that reading of a "physical education text" or entry of "a study card and a study note" has taken the lead, in each practice. When a physical education lesson also raises PISA type reading comprehension power, it is suggested that entry of "a study card, a study note", etc. is an effective means. However, the creation of the evaluation standard of the contents of description and the examination of a rule rucksack (grading indicator) corresponding to this are indispensable.
