| Abstract |
There are not only Shōten (声点) pointed in cinnabar, but also two-points (双点) and three-points (三点) which are called Tenpatsu and pointed in cinnabar on the left side of letters in Heian-chūki-Ten of the Kobunshōjo. Heian-chūki-Ten of the Kobunshōjo is one kind of Kun-Ten (訓点). These are the points that were affixed to letters in the middle of the Heian era.
The aim of this thesis is to investigate the relation among Shōten, Tenpatsu, and the Keitensyakumon (経典釈文), according to the previous study the Keitensyakumon was used to learn and read Shojō (尚書) in the Heian era. And this thesis gives some insight into the function of Tenpatsu which has not been obvious yet. |
