Abstract |
In the decade from 1955, the laying hen farming as a side job in the farm household became prevailing and grew steadily. However, owing to the severe cost-reducing competition caused by innovations into the enlargement of scale, the main form in the said decade became a composite farming in which the layer section was major. At present, the laying hen farming has become a specialized enterprise. Taking into account the dynamic changes in the shape of laying hen farming, stratifi- cation, farmer's organizations and locations, this paper interlds to clarify these develop- mental mechaiism. For this purpose, the author took the following three procedures. (1) critical adoption of several views of factors analysis on the development process of farm management and producing areas. (2) building up an analytical dynamic model of laying hen farming, with special attention for its technical, managemental and organizational characteristics. (3) studying each advanced case of the following three types, that is, the large-scale cooperative farming, the large-scale collective farming in a suburball area and the huge systematized farming in a remote area. Thus, the author tries to explain the actual development mechanisms and the future prospects of thc desirable forms of laying hell farming.
