Abstract |
I think that "Self" is constructed by words. Through expressing and recognizing words, "Self" is being formed. As learning one's mother language is to form one's "Self", the subject of Japanese is regarded as the subject of learning "Self" for Japanese students. I have interest in positioning the "Self" in the subject of Japanese. This paper explores the underlying thoughts about "Self" in the current Course of Study of Japanese, because the "Self" is the most important key word for revised Course of Study of Japanese.
