Abstract
The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of teaching mathematics in a smaller class with one teacher to that of a regular class with two teachers. The results did not seem to show significant differences in achievement tests. The smaller class with one teacher, however, showed higher motivation than the regular class did.
