Abstract
Wang Yangming (王陽明) wanted to become a Shengren (聖人) by the method of Zhu xi (朱熹)'s Gewu (格物). But he was frustrated in his ambition to become a Shengren (聖人). His frustration had constantly influenced his life so much so that he developed a Zhu xi (朱熹) Complex.

And when Wang Yangming (王陽明) got the doctrine of "Zhi liangzhi(致良知)", he said, this doctrine had been derived from his own existential experience. After all, "Zhuxi (朱熹)" and "Existential experience" are essential for him in making his own thought.

Wang yangming (王陽明) has critically examined zhuxi (朱熹)'s thought, and he realized he must create his own cosmology, through all of his life. So I think it was life which Wang yangming (王陽明) wanted to establish by himself independent that of Zhuxi (朱熹).
