In this paper, the chronology of the Topaz between September 11, 1942 and September 10, 1943 was constructed by referring to "the Topaz Times", which was the community newspaper published in the camp. The changes in the birth rate and death rate were examined in terms of the changes in the lives of the Japanese Americans in the San Francisco Bay area after the dawn of WWII.
