This report describes about an educational training program of the cross cultural communication for Japanese students in an American University. In the seminor, American interpersonal communication skills in some social settings, social skills, were trained ; assertion, negotiation, beginning conversation, making friends, seeking information and help, subjective and independent behavior, necessary behaviors in University and etc. The training put to ptractical use of the structured learning methods of psychology as small step, hierarchy of behavioral difficulty, roleplay, feedback and cognitive reconstructunng. The effect was discussed depend on the enforcement.
