フランス語semblerとイタリア語sembrareにおける属詞構文 : 数量的分析から見る繋辞性・動詞性

This paper quantitatively investigates French sembler and Italian sembrare, which follow similar attributes, and clearly reveals where French sembler is different from Italian sembrare. Quantitative analysis demonstrates that the sembler construction differs from the sembrare construction in the “comparison” meaning, the verbs inside the impersonal construction, and the dative experiencer of the finite impersonal construction. I point out that while sembler has the property of “Verbness,” sembrare indicates “Copulaness.”
