Abstract
Japanese Yuefu poetry is the product of cultural exchange between China and Japan. Moreover, it is a significant inheritance from Japanese literature. The compilation and study of these poems is an important part of cultural exchanges linking China and Japan. This article gives a preliminary discussion referring to the text of Japanese Yuefu poetry, and attempts to retrace the steps to compile the poems while also making a contribution to the Sino-Japanese cultural exchange project.
