Each square park has an individual utilization pattern, which is supposed to be determined by its age constitution of inhabitants there. The aim of this paper is to examine the relationship between inhabitants' age constitution and utilization pattern of square parks in housing development areas in Hiroshima City.
The following things are clarified through several empirical analyses,
(1) The relationship between them above is not so strong,
(2) The utilization pattern is greatly determined by community-based activities by aged people,
(3) The utilization level of square parks in housing development areas in Hiroshima city is rather low, comparing with other areas.
