In this paper, we use "YUK Chinese Speaker Japanese Learner's Composition Corpus 2015," based on Shiba's (2012) classification of passive sentences to show Chinese speakers' passive misuse of Japanese sentences by type. We investigated the distribution of types. The results show that frequently misused types were mainly I sentences, II sentences, and AI sentences. Typically misused sentence types were I result, I execution, and I utterance types of I sentences, utterance type to AA partner type of AA sentences, and the logical relation type of II sentence.
