In this paper I attempt to examine how each book of The Jiujing Syu especially of The Wujing Zhengyi, estimtes The Weisyu as material for quotation. Their estimates can be summarized as follows:

1. The Shangsyu Zhengyi 尚書正義 and The Chungiu Zhengyi 春秋正義 do not rate The Weisyu high.

2. The Liji Zhengyi 礼記正義, The Chouyi Zhengyi 周易正義 and all the other books of The Jiujing Syu but The Maoshi Zhengyi 毛詩正義 depend on The Weisyu.

3. The Maoshi Zhengyi's estimate of The Weisyu is generally high with some exceptions.

4. The Shangsyu Zhengyi's, The Chungiu Zhengyi's, The Maoshi Zhengyi's estimate of The Weisyu are based on Liu Xuan 劉炫's The Wujing Shuyi 五経述議, their original texts.
