本研究の目的は，アクティブラーニングの観点から，多国籍の学生を対象にした講義において，効果的な教育方法を提示することである。これまでの多国籍の学生を対象としたアクティブラーニングに関する研究では，日本人の学生と留学生が交流する異文化理解に主眼が置かれていた。筆者が担当する講義「地域文化創生論」では，多国籍の受講生が相互の文化的な背景を理解し合うだけではなく，フィールドワークに関する学びを深めることを目的とした。そして，言語に制約がある中でも，受講生がより主体的に学びを深められるように，講義のアクティブラーニング化を目指した。本稿ではその工夫と学生への教育効果を踏まえ，アクティブラーニングを実践する上での効果的な教育方法について述べる。

This study was aimed at presenting effective educational methods with active learning in mind for lectures geared toward international students in classroom settings. Past studies on active learning designed for multinational students have focused mainly on cross-cultural understanding between Japanese and international students. The author’s lecture, “Creation of Regional Culture,” sets not only mutual understanding of cultural backgrounds, but also gaining deeper learning experience in fieldwork as its objectives for multinational students. The author also aims to integrate active learning into the lecture so that students can voluntarily enhance their studies in fieldwork despite language barriers. Based on the actual methods introduced and their effect on the students, this paper will discuss perspectives required for active learning in educational settings.
