abstract | Confucius thought that the body was expanded by the learning, and physical expansion was controlled by the gratitude. This Confucius' body was restrained in the ways by the expansion and the repression. However, this body restrained double to live in the community was indispensable. A community member is protected while being regulated by a community. The community restrains a person in the ways, as well. A human being is the existence it seeks to be liberated from this double restraint and the order. Confucius thought out the body which it enjoyed based on this thought. This concept distroys the the community organized by the Confucianism as well as the fundamental value of the Confucianism. Therefore, the body which Confucius appreciated was merely as the body imagined body. As a result, this body caused the third restraint to controll Confucius' body. Confucius was living according to the body restrained from these three concepts, i.e., the expansion, the repression and the pleasure.
