abstract | The purpose of this paper is to highlight how small dairy farmers in Bangladesh are collectively oper-ating their dairy farming and generating employment for better earnings through a cooperative system.Adopting new technology in agriculture and providing an efficient marketing system is a complexprocess in developing countries where the majority of farmers are in subsistence level of farming.However, with democratic organization, a cooperative can play a vital role for the poor rural farmers inbetter access to such technology and fair market price for their products.
