Re-thinking about “Ichidoku-Sogo" Method as a Method of Teaching Logical Thinking Focusing on Thinking Process of Learners
The aim of this paper is to elucidate significance of “Ichidoku-Sogo" Method when I regard it as a method of teaching logical thinking focusing on thinking process of learners. “Ichidoku-Sogo" Method has been studied as a instruction method of reading. On the other hand, this method has also been placed as a method of teaching logical thinking. In this paper, I formed a hypothesis that“Ichidoku-Sogo" Method is effective as the instruction method with which teachers can be attention to the process of logical thinking of learners. And I inspected the hypothesis by analyzing practices and theories about this method. As a result of this analysis, I clarified two points: 1)“Ichidoku-Sogo" Method enables teachers to capture the process of logical thinking of learners in the process of reading by instructions such as “Kakikomi". Therefore, “Ichidoku-Sogo" Method is significant as a method to capture the process of logical thinking of learners. 2)“Ichidoku-Sogo" Method promotes logical thinking of learners and sets some opportunities to let learners think logically. In addition to two points of these, I clarified two points of next future researchs' themes: 1)To deal with the difference between the thinking process of learners and their expresses in talks activity. 2)To develop a course of instruction revising the thinking process of learners which teachers capture.
