abstract | The Shinto priests in Edo period had to receive the position recognition in Kyoto. They went to Kyoto, and stayed in Kyoto for several months from several days. They mutually exchanged information in Kyoto. Moreover, they came in contact with the court noble culture, and associated with Kokugaku Scholars. These experiences had improved their consideration. They contributed to the rise of regional Shintoism after it had returned home.
