abstract | This thesis is about the "Shigisan-Engi" There is a volume called "Nikou-no-Maki" in the "Shig isan-Engi". The scene where Nikou goes to Yamato is concretely drawn on "Nikou-no-Maki". But, there is no concrete description in "Kotobagaki", and it cannot be specified where the scene is drawing. As a result of analyzing a screen, the iconographic image drawn became clear that it is the scenery composed finite by "Waka", Japanese poem that consist of 31-syllable. The first scene is KISOJI and the second scene is the "Fuseya". "Shigisan-Engi" expresses a place by drawing the idea of "Waka".
