abstract | In this paper, the authors argue that it is necessary to recognize the key role of the spiritual factor in the policy of cooperation between the states as concern the proposals originated at the United Nations, UNESCO and other international organizations that are designed to implement the initiative of peaceful nonviolent coexistence. A particular attention is paid to the examination of the real potential of the system of education for the teaching of a nonviolent way of living.
