abstract	2009年6月に瀬戸内海の山口県伊予灘で冷水性カレイ科魚類のババガレイMicrostomus achne 1標本が採集された。全長253.5mm,体長211.3mm,雄の成魚で,本報は標本に基づく瀬戸内海初記録である。
abstract	A single specimen of the slime flounder Microstomus achne (Pleuronectidae) was collected from the Iyo-nada Sea, western Seto Inland Sea, Japan in June 2009. The adult male specimen was 253.5mm total length, 211.3mm standard length. This species is known to inhabit the cold waters of northern Japan, but this is the first record of M. achne in the Seto Inland Sea, southwestern Japan.
