abstract | Reform of Japanese Universities between Political Will and Practical Reality
Since the 1980s in Japan, university reforms have been continuously undertaken. In spite of this fact, the demand for further contributions from universities as well as for their further reforms is much higher than ever. This paper discusses the relevance of the university reforms in Japan, drawing on diverse surveys. The results of the analysis of these surveys show number of difficulties stemming from these reforms. |
