A Study of the Meaning of an Art Class : In Case of a School Performance "Let's Make a Children's Play" at Hofu School for the Handicapped
We are all aware that art education must pursue education of art and education through art at the same time and that this goal can be hardly achieved. Mrs. Mohri's lesson introduced in this article, however, provided us with an absolutely superb image of art lesson. Furthermore, her lesson can be highly regarded as the embodiment of 3-H art education, which will be my lifelong claim. Then, what made her lesson so successful? The present article refers to the causes of its success and reexamines the requirements in planning better art classes.
