abstract
The purpose in this paper is to develop the lesson plan for teaching history in junior high schools to consider Kenkaryouseibai. We developed the unit plan "Considering Kenkaryouseibai." This plan aims recognize the perspectives and views of Kenkaryouseibai. We have prepared two views of society in the middle ages to plan the unit. One is a viewpoint of state power that Sengokudaimyo refused to decide a quarrel. Another is a viewpoint of moderateness that Sengokudaimyo evaded that he decided a quarrel. As students have a viewpoint of state power in everylife, we have planed the history lesson that they could acquire a new viewpoint and think about the modern society based on a new viewpoint.
