abstract
In this paper, a new micro-scale experimental material for the oxidation of toluene and p-xylene was reported. In the oxidation of these compounds by potassium permanganate, the suspension of manganese oxide (IV) prepared in the presence of sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate was found to be an effective catalyst.
