The aim of this paper is to examine how "Kojiki" was made to teaching materials in Showa prewar days. I deal with textbooks of youth school. "Kojiki" in textbooks have two characteristics. The one is that "Kojiki" was used to examine the form of the nation. For this aim, "Tensonkorin" and "Jinmutenno" were selected. The other one is that "Kojiki" was used to make students have the loyalty. For this aim, "Yamatotakeru", "Tajimamori" and "Ototachibanahime" were selected.
