The purpose of this study is to realize the inclination of literature education in Taiwan's teacher education course. Two textbooks which used in Taiwan's teacher education course were identified in this study, especially focus on the authors' concepts and the lesson plans. The prior researches are presented the intervention of National ideology in Taiwan's primary school textbooks. The sovereignty of Taiwan changed from Japan to the Nationalist Government in 1945, and the Japanese education also became to Chinese education. From course standards (1952～1998) in Taiwan, the Chinese culture, patriotism, moral etc. which could be considered as spiritual education, are emphasized in content. Nowadays, the literature education how reflects the effects of National educational policy, is also the research point in this study. The conclusions in the study were as follows: ability of language is focused on, the particularity of "Affection", the ignorance of literature material.
