| abstract | During the 8-years’ governance of Ma Ying-jeou, the interactive trust in both the political and military spheres between China and Taiwan was improved. However, how to establish an interactive trust mechanism a problem that has yet to be solved. This paper aims to reveal the diplomatic and military policy intended to establish a trust mechanism with mainland China, and to analyze and evaluate this policy.
