Two kinds of tissues obtained from a newt lung and a clucian carp peritoneum were cultured in the same chamber.

When medium modified from Eagle's basal medium was emploied, the culture was successful. Although the culture period was relatively short, there were no remarkable differences in appearance of growth, between each one of both tissues in the same chamber and tissues cultured separably.
