This paper describes an environment for learning by problem-posing as sentence-integration. Although we have already developed a learning environment for problem-posing as concept combination. it is difficult for pupils of the lower grades in an elementary school. To realize learning by problem posing in the lower grades. we propose a framework of problem-posing by sentence-integration in this paper. It is easier than problem-posing by concept combination, but it keeps the learning effect to refine problem schema. The learning environment was used by one hundred sixty-three second grade pupils of an elementary school to examine whether or not the lower grade pupils can pose problems in the environment The effect of refinement of problem schema by the problem-posing was also analyzed by pre- and post-test with excessive information problems. As the results, the pupils and teachers who were observers of the experiment accepted the learning environment. as a useful learning tool to realize learning by problem-posing. The effect of refinement of problem scheme was also suggested.
