Making of a support book for teacher in elementary and junior high schools to improve cooperation with parents

It is one of the important problems for the progress of the special support education that whether teachers could cooperate well with their parents for the education of children or not. And it is also common recognition to all the people who are related to education that the cooperation of teachers and parents is indispensable. However, at present, teachers might not be obtaining enough information to do it well. Therefore, in the present study, we made the support book, containing helpful information to improve cooperation with parents and devised so that teachers might use it easily. We distributed these books to 20 elementary and junior high schools and examined how teachers at those schools evaluated them. As a result, we obtained a lot of their opinions that they were useful for them. On the other hand, they hoped for more detailed information. So we added several examples of the method of solving problems between parents and teachers, and making mutual trust with them etc. to support book. It is necessary to examine whether the improved one could actually promote the cooperation of teachers and parents in the future study.
