日本産魚類に寄生するチョウ属エラオ類の目録(1900-2009年)

Synopsis of branchiurans of the genus Argulus (Crustacea, Argulidae),ectoparasites of freshwater and marine fishes, in Japan (1900-2009)

1900-2009年に出版された文献に加えて,滋賀県立琵琶湖博物館に保管されている標本と栃木県中禅寺湖産ブラウントラウトから得られた標本の観察結果に基づき,以下の日本産チョウ属9種と未同定種に関する情報(異名リスト,宿主,寄生部位,地理的分布)を種ごとに整理した:マルミチョウ(新称) Argulus americanus, ホソウミチョウ Argulus caecus, チョウモドキ Argulus coregoni, チョウ Argulus japonicus, クサフグウミチョウ Argulus kusafugu, ツワモノチョウ(新称) Argulus lepidostei またはその類似種, マツイウミチョウ Argulus matuii, オノダウミチョウ Argulus onodai, ウミチョウ Argulus scutiformis, 淡水産未同定種 Argulus spp., 海産未同定種 Argulus spp. 本目録でブラウントラウト(サケ科)とコクレン(コイ科)をそれぞれわが国におけるチョウモドキとチョウの新宿主として追加した.

Based on the literature published between the years 1900 and 2009 and an examination of argulid specimens deposited at Lake Biwa Museum and collected in Lake Chuzenji, a synopsis is compiled for the following 9 named species and unspecified species in Japan, which belong to the genus Argulus: A. americanus, A. caecus, A. coregoni, A. japonicus, A. kusafugu, A. lepidostei or its similar species, A. matuii, A. onodai, A. scutiformis, Argulus spp. (freshwater) and Argulus spp. (marine). Of these species, A. americanus and A. lepidostei or its similar species were introduced from the U.S.A to aquaria in Japan. This synopsis contains information for each species on its habitat (freshwater or marine), species of host(s), attachment site(s) and known geographical distribution in Japanese waters. Brown trout Salmo trutta (Salmonidae) and bighead carp Aristichthys nobilis (Cyprinidae) are recorded herein as new hosts in Japan for A. coregoni and A. japonicus, respectively.
